El Museo Picasso Málaga (MPM) es una de los dos pinacotecas dedicadas a Pablo Picasso ubicadas en su ciudad natal Málaga (España), siendo la otra la Fundación Picasso Museo Casa Natal. Tiene como objetivo la promoción y difusión de la obra del pintor Pablo Picasso. La Casa Natal de Pablo Picasso está en el número 15 de la Plaza de la Merced, donde nació en 1881 el pintor más importante del siglo XX. Declarado Monumento Histórico-Artístico de Interés Nacional en 1983 el Museo Casa Natal comenzó ocupando la primera planta hasta albergar hoy la totalidad del edificio. Se pueden conocer algunas de sus obras más íntimas, la biblioteca familiar y el interior de la casa. Podemos ver una reconstrucción del estudio del pintor y sus obras ilustradas. Además de las obras familiares, esta Casa Natal, se ha transformado en un centro de investigación sobre la obra del artista malagueño.

It is visited by the inhabitants of Malaga, tourists and artists who look for inspiration. The house of Pablo Picasso was his home until the day of his death. The characteristics make of this beautiful house a unique place in the world, the objective of this small museum is that the tourists and the population of the city of Malaga know more about the great artist Picasso. The first painting «Sueño y Mentira de Franco» was donated by her granddaughter Marina Picasso.
